A commode chair is a free-standing toilet chair meant to assist people who cannot walk to the bathroom.

There are 2 general options:

– Bedside commode chair
– Shower commode chair

These chairs also typically have stationary and rolling wheel options to choose from. Rolling wheels may be easier to move about and more convenient, but it really depends on what the user needs.
