In 1974, Comvita founders Claude Stratford and Alan Bougen were inspired by bees and their inspirational products like honey, pollen, beeswax, and honeycomb. They regarded honey as nature’s medicine.

All Comvita® UMF™ Manuka Honey is traceable to its source – from the hive to the shelf. Comvita has a strong relationship with the New Zealand government, the beekeepers and the bees to produce high-quality UMF manuka honey.
