It was intended to pad the joint areas of the elevated backrest I first got for my elderly mom, as well as to give her some back support. She says she has no back pains with it. However, one complaint from her is that she feels hot after resting on it for some time. She does not like aircon and blowing fan in her room. So nothing to cool off the cushion as she sleeps.
